The Advanced Peace Mediation Program is the result of mediatEUr and ICP joint forces and aims at developing a new type of learning and offer in Peace Mediation for mid and high level professionals.
Our purpose is to train and coach professionals in the field of Peace Mediation and to offer them an opportunity for exchange and dialogue among peers with a focus on the development of advanced practice.
The program seeks to fulfil the following objectives : • to gain new insights into the development of peace mediation • to reflect on peace mediation as a community of practitioners • to identify challenges to peace mediation and identify possible ways forward

Preannouncement: 8th International Summer Academy and Forum on Peace Mediation and National Dialogue

In order to peacefully transform violent conflicts into cooperation within a constructive approach, the importance of peace mediation has significantly increased in recent years.
The Academy and Forum will offer an insight on the current situation in North Africa and Sahel.
Participants of the ICP Summer Academy will: • Learn key concepts and methods of peace mediation and national dialogue • Acquire tools used to conduct a mediation and dialogue process • Learn about cultural and socio-political specifities related related to mediation and dialogue in North Africa and Sahel • Gain first-hand insights on the topic from professionals and experts • Obtain a practical experience as a facilitator through case simulations
